- Statute of Repose Reform Becomes Law:
After a lot of hard work on the part of our members and lobbyist, we are thrilled to announce that Governor Dayton has signed into law our statute of repose bill. Look for more details in the next issue of Parameters, and thanks to everyone who helped make this a reality.

- Governor Drops Business to Business Tax Proposal:
At a TwinWest Chamber meeting on March 8 the Governor announced that he is dropping the Business to Business sales tax from his revised budget that is expected next week. At the meeting, he said his initial budget proposal "obviously lacked public support" and that now "it lacks mine." ACEC/MN members were very active in opposing the legislation.
- Capitol Consulting Day Draws Over 100 Members:
ACEC/MN's Capitol Consulting Day drew over 100 members to the Capitol on February 20. Members met with legislators in indemnification, statute of repose, infrastructure investments and the Governor's proposed business to business tax. Several legislative leaders visited with the entire group and new Mn/DOT Commissioner Charlie Zelle made an appearance.
