Dinner & Awards at The Historic Union Depot (The Great Hall Room)

After socializing with friends and colleagues at dinner, current president Bill Bennett will highlight noteworthy ACEC/MN accomplishments and introduce the 2008-09 Board of Directors. The 2008 Tom Roche Award winner will be recognized as well as the presentation of the President’s Award and Firm of the Year. New Life Members will be announced and lastly, Bill Bennett will pass the gavel to incoming president George Kluempke. 

 
Enjoy Desert & Drinks On the Lake Superior Railroad                        
8-9 p.m.  Scenic Train Tour

History comes alive on the lakefront line of the north shore scenic railroad. The train will depart the historic depot for a 45 minute trip through downtown Duluth, Canal park, and deep into the majestic Northwoods, while we enjoy various deserts and drinks.

Near the end of the train ride, you have the option of being dropped off at Fitgers for a Brewhouse tour (on your own for transportation back to Depot)

Fitger’s Brewhouse Tour, established in 1857, is Duluth's oldest operating brewery and pub. This year the brewhouse will produce more than 100 styles-and 2,000 barrels-of handcrafted beer.
