Market Yourself Online: LinkedIn and Other Social Networks

In online professional circles you are either “LinkedIn” or you are out. We all know the saying, “It’s not what you know. It’s who you know,” or who you get to know. Strategic online connections are just as important as traditional networking channels today because that’s how more professionals and owners prefer to communicate, share ideas and contacts.

If you care about future business development and retention, find out what sets the most popular networking sites such as LinkedIn and Facebook apart, their obstacles and downsides and reasons why your company could benefit from them. Attendees will learn the differences between social networking and other social media tools such as blogs, best practices and monitoring for results.  Some highlights:

  • Basic knowledge of different social networking audiences and the tone of popular sites.
  • Social networking tools to build credibility, industry knowledge and referrals.
  • Marketing strategies that make the most sense for potential and current users.
